What’s the difference between Cubase 4 education edition and the normal edition?

Hi. I see that for Cubase 4 education edition, its price is lower than the normal version. So I wonder what’s the difference? Is the education edition upgradable?

The difference is what you are allowed to use if for. An education license will allow you to use all aspects of the program.

The downside to an education license is that you cant use it for a commercial application. This means that you cant make a product and sell it using an educational license, you would need a full license for this.

Get the educational license if you only intend to use it to learn the program and undertake personal projects. However if you are going to start doing business based on Cubase you will need the full license version.
