What are the drinks every bartender should know?
I'm going to apply for a job as a bartender, and I'm not much of a drinker so I don't know many drink mixes. There are thousands of drinks online, obviously I can't remember all of those.
But what are the drinks I need to know if I want a job as a bartender?
bloody mary, strawberry daquari, margarita, pina colada, cubra libre, white russian, colorado bulldog, martini, manhattan, gimlet, gibson, mai tai, fuzzy navel, hairy navel, sex on the beach, zombie,harvey wallbanger, grasshopper, hurricane,sloe gin fizz, you need to know all of these and have a few more in your arsenal. you need to be familiar with the terms on the rocks, up, neat, perfect, dry,with a twist, dirty, back (if someone orders a jack daniels with a water back it means they want a shot of jack and a glass of water on the side). if you can learn all of these things and be able to multi-task, then i don't see why you can't be a bartender
